Dear Charter Families,
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all our current children and families and to the families thinking about joining our SMA Community. This year has already begun and is proving to be an exciting year. With this school year being my first with SMA, it has been an important goal for me to learn as much as I can about the community's rich culture, history and achievements. As your Director, I want to build on the schools many successes in order to fully realize the school's mission.
The faculty, staff and I are committed to nurturing your child's educational experiences, promoted through a diverse curriculum, a dedicated and knowledgeable faculty, and a vibrant school/community partnership. Effective communication, cooperation and collaboration between home and school are essential to build a strong foundation for a successful school community. We encourage and invite parent and community involvement in an effort to build upon the educational experiences for each of the students that attend Sierra Montessori Academy. Weekly Newsletters announcing upcoming events can be found on our website. The Newsletters are sent home with the students every Friday or Thursday if there is no school on Friday.
I encourage you to navigate through our new website to see our offerings. Your children are the most important asset in our school community and we take this commitment seriously. I look forward to working with our families in support of your children by providing an enriching, engaging, and rigorous academic experience.
