WELCOME TO SIERRA MONTESSORI ACADEMY
Dear Charter Families,
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all our
current children and families, to our new families and to those thinking
about joining our SMA Community.
We have established a positive culture built on a strong, rigorous and
child-centered academic program. Our mission is to create a climate
that maximizes instructional time for student learning while developing
healthy physical, social and emotional skills in a safe and caring
environment. As your Director, my goal is to build on the schools many
successes in order to fully realize this mission.
The faculty, staff and I are committed to nurturing your child's
educational experiences, promoted through a diverse curriculum, a
dedicated and knowledgeable faculty, and a vibrant school/community
partnership. Effective communication, cooperation and collaboration
between home and school are essential to build a strong foundation for a
successful school community. We encourage and invite parent and
community involvement in an effort to build upon the educational
experiences for each of the students that attend Sierra Montessori
Academy. Weekly Newsletters announcing upcoming events can be found on
our website. The Newsletters are sent home with the students every
Friday or Thursday if there is no school on Friday.
I encourage you to navigate through our new website to see our
offerings. Your children are the most important asset in our school
community and we take this commitment seriously. I look forward to
working with our families in support of your children by providing an
enriching, engaging, and rigorous academic experience.
