The Sierra
Montessori Academy (SMA) is a K-8 California public charter school.
We offer a blended program of Montessori Philosophy with California
Standards Based Curriculum to students in the Sierra foothills. SMA is
tuition-free and open to the public. Independent Study is also available, please contact us for additional information.
SMA offers a private school environment where students excel in
small class sizes of less than 25 students. The Montessori method is
integrated into the classroom learning environment where individual
variations in a child's development allows the focus to be on educating
the whole child.
